The Proper Golf Swing
What is the proper golf driver flex for me? Stiff or X-Stiff?

I currently have an x-stiff shaft on my driver. I went to my local golf store and they used a swing speed analyzer to see how fast I swing. The guy said I was on the border line between a stiff and an x-stiff shaft. I have a very powerful swing. I have one major problem. I am always slicing the ball. Every once in a while I hit a ball straight, but it still usually has a slice to it. I hit my irons perfectly straight, so I’m pretty sure it’s not my swing. Can anyone tell me if I should go down to a stiff flex or keep my x-stiff flex? Thanks!

Hitting irons are different from hitting a driver. You should get a stiff flex and swing easy with a inside out swing. That should help your slice. With a stiff flex you can pretty much swing all day with it and not being tired.
