Help for the Art Instruction school?
I signed up for a free art test, hoping it would tell me how much this cost, it didn’t. I also couldn’t find the cost anywhere on their site. I need to know the price as I usually do not have any spare money. If there are any alternatives other then a college, which I also can’t afford. Is there anything else in the Oklahoma area, or near the southeast area of Oklahoma that is affordable. All I truely need to know is how to draw. Once I learn that I’m confident I can teach myself painting, etc.
I’m a sooner. Art school at OU is only 5k a year.
They have a great program and great resources. Getting admitted means (here’s the secret) they have a financial package for you! yes, believe it! The problem is most people think that have to contribute more than the expected amount. The university only expects you to provide 2,500 or so. They will provide the rest in loans and pell grants.
also get admitted on a probationary status to start. They won’t let you enroll in the spring semester until the fall’s tuition is paid. So here is what you do. You use your financial aid to pay for your falls expenses, then enroll – and live off your springs money. DON pay the Spring tuition until you have worked all summer! Then pay back before you start the fall semester. This allows you to attend school for 1/2 the money you would normally need.
Sooner sense can have money added to it just like credit! Just fill out the form – you need to pay before you enroll in the next semester.
Then take your electives first – even if you can’t stay in (theres no reason why you can’t unless you don’t want to) You have 2 years of great art classes under your belt.
as well hit Craigslist and post an offer to attend classes…
There is lots of rich kids who don’t want to do their work- they will gladly let you go to class for them. Let them pay and let them get the degree – you get the education. That is where the pudding is.
Also there is a Christian college which allows you to attend for free – but you have to let them apply for all the financial aid you can be eligible for. I like the OU thing personally the networking is better.
Good luck.
