Who’s in favor of the “sudden death” system of playoffs in Major golf tournament play?

Which ones use this sudden death? I know the U.S. open golf tournament goes to a 18 hole playoff in case of ties on the following day.
The British Open uses the same protocol for ties.
But the Master’s uses a sudden death system where they play to whoever wins the first hole,am I correct?
My opinion is same many golf legends of the game like Palmer, Hogan, Nickolaus that this sudden death system is obsurd. Hogan’s opinion”Why not just roll dice and decide the winner?”.
I’m pretty sure that the P.G.A. championship indeed mandates a sudden death system for ties.

I just don’t think that it is asking too much to be made to post another 18 hole score in playoffs. Thank You
And if they tie the tie, go to another 18 holes and post another score. If it worked of 150 years, don’t fix it. It’s lots of fun to watch someone stand up to the rigors of 6 rounds of golf

The PGA has a 3 hole playoff and the British Open a 4 hole playoff. The Masters is the only sudden death major. I like that there is variety. It helps give each event an identity. An 18 hole playoff on Monday at Augusta just doesn’t sit right with me like it does at the US Open. The 3 and 4 hole playoff system, I find perfect. The Monday 18 hole playoff is usually a buzzkill.
