What do hockey players wear under the pads?

I am joining a hockey league and wondring what do players wear under the pads. What shirt pants etc…….

You don’t need a garter Belt. Most jocks these days (which you will want- with a cup in it- have Velcro tabs that hold your socks up.

Pants? None. I wear a Jock. That’s it. It’s designed to fit instead of underwear. Pants and such would make you way too warm to play well.

BTW- girls don’t need a Jock, because they don’t need the cup… As guy however, you will need a cup. If you get a good jock, it’ll be built in.

Shirt? I wear a wicking compression shirt. A cotton undershirt works just fine though.

That’s it. The rest is equipment.
