VW Gamma radio problem HELP!?
OK, i was driving along, went over a pot hole and the radio cut out, but the backlighting stayed on. no button appears to make any difference. the backlighting stays on when the engine is off too. very strange. i do not have the instructions. i assume maybe the jolt knocked a connection out or something. Advice?

how would i take the radio out to check, i assume i need a special key thing, garage?
You got it – bad connection hopefully on the outside of the unit at the rear. If it is inside it won’t be worth fixing.
Could just be the fuse so check that.
