Is this legal or can it be stopped?
company(1) prints logos on golf balls for other companies. It charges 6.50 a dozen. Companies(others) can get this done by the companies who sell the golf balls, Callaway, Top Flite, etc, FOR FREE. Company(1) selling the logoed balls makes sure his name is not on any boxes shipped out, so the other companies(others) won’t know. The company(1) also has every employee sign a waiver stating they won’t steal this idea.
Some of the companies(others) spend literally THOUSANDS on logoed balls they could be getting for just the price of the golf balls. Can this be prevented or stopped? It seems very unfair to other hardworking businesses.
He’s not doing anything illegal.
If his customers are too lazy to do a web search and find the other sources on their own, then they will have to pay the extra money.
As to the waiver – it’s called a Non Compete and is legal as well.
