How do i get my freshly painted nails to stop chipping?
Ok i just painted my nails yesterday and i put 2 coats of color and 2 coats of top coat ( cuz 1 coat of top coat they were still chipping!). I washed dishes today and now every Single nail that i painted yesterday is chipped! What can i do to keep my painted nails from chipping! PLEASE HELP!
You want to make sure your nails are smooth, clean and dry before you paint them. So try lightly buffing your nails before you paint them. Use thin coats. The thicker it is the faster it will chip. And if you are going to wash dishes you need to wear gloves. Only use one coat of top coat then like every other day you can apply a new layer for about a week.
There are also products that say they prevent chipping. I know OPI has one. IDK how well it works though.
