Which is the better iron set to buy?

I’m a new golfer joining the school team next year as a junior. Our school pays for the greens cost if we golf atleast 15 times over the summer, so i’ll improve my game. But my question is.
Which is a better iron set as a beginner?
1. Nike Slingshot
2. 2004 Callaway Big Bertha

You really need to test both clubs to see which ones feel better to you. I have a set of Nike Slingshots and I love them, but that is a personal opinion, you may feel totally differently. If you contact your local pro shop you may find that they will be sponsoring a demo days. That would give you the ability to try out different clubs.
